Lena Headey, fresh from her stint as Sarah Connor on TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES and as Queen Gorgo in 300, will be playing the conniving Queen in HBO's adaptation of A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE.
No official word from HBO, but THE WATCHER blog (written by Mo Ryan, who is tight with HBO) broke the news earlier tonight. GRRM confirmed it on his blog.
Excellent choice. Headey is quite in demand at the moment, is a very fine actress and has the right looks (although she'll presumably blonde up for the role). She's a couple of years younger than Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who's playing Jaime, but nothing too major.
An impressive casting choice

Did you just say "Megan Fox" and "make sense" in the same sentence?

I like that she and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau actually look like they could be brother and sister.
