The ending was *long*, but I wasn't complaining. I'm not sure which "second ending" you're talking about... god, my memory is so bad these days.
I was referring to the scene where Sellars takes them all into the "basement" of Otherland and tells them about his little artificial-life creations, and the Group has to decided what to do with them. It was just sort of an anticlimactic moment for me.
