I absolutely loved the climax of the Otherland series. I just didn't care for the immediately-after-the-climax "second ending" - definitely felt tacked-on.

The denouement was good as well, though.

The ending was *long*, but I wasn't complaining. I'm not sure which "second ending" you're talking about... god, my memory is so bad these days.
