I watched the film version of it recently and wasn't very sure about it at all. I couldn't remember the book that well but I'm sure there was a lot of stuff in there that wasn't in the book. It really didn't help that Paul wasn't anything like I imagined - and also I know the guy who played him from Sex and the City first which *really* didn't help :P


Yep, definately well worth a re-read.. but like I mentioned in my post I'm a little biased towards them.

As for the movie.. Which one did you watch? There was the original 3 hour epic.. which was huge for when it was made and recently they have released it again in a 3 part set. I own the original but haven't managed to watch the new ones yet.
