Best of luck with the paper. It sounds like an interesting topic. I once wrote a paper that I called "The Renaissance Regression" that focused on the loss of options and more rigid definition of women and their roles in society during the early Ren.

Woul've thought it was the other way around, but my knowledge of history is sadly one-dimensional.

I very much look forward to reading Drood sometime soon.
