Of course, thats because the song was based on the book.
This was actually the first Metallica song I liked (never been a fan of heavy metal, cockrock or bighair rock). The other one I liked was "Master of Puppets." When their "Black Album" came out I was surprised; it was a decent album with decent music.

)Not from me at least. I was never a fan of the heavy metal either. That was until I played Guitar Hero Metallica (mainly because I liked Enter Sandman). After that I started realizing how much I liked alot of their songs. Now I have a few CDs of my favorites from them in my car, and it's driving my wife wild that it's the only thing I listen to most of the time. She should wait til I get the new Creed CD.
