I would characterize myself as a fan of Stephenson's work, especially CRYPTONOMICON. I have to say that I found ANATHEM to be a remarkable book for a lot of different reasons.
The book is huge, and one of it's primary foci is actually various forms of astro- and meta-physics theory. The story is a tremendous work of scope and of world-building.
I haven't decided whether or not I'm going to write a full review. It's a massive book and one that I can't quite figure out how to truly summarize in a review. I would love to hear what other people thought though.

I amuse myself.

I bought it not last weekend, but the weekend before. And then read it all in about 2 days.

Looking back, I can't remember reading it. I one hundred percent see it in my head as a movie.
