A friend lent it to me when I was 15, and it blew my mind. I have re-read it at regular intervals since, and I keep seeing new things in it.
I can't believe I waited so long to read this. Brave New World is now on my to-re-read list.
Mind you read The Gone-Away World first.
I just read a little about that. Interesting. Is it in any way related to Brave New World, or do you just recommend it?
I recommend it whenever I feel I can get away with it. But it does have a certain affinity with Brave New World. Not that it is anything like it, you understand. Hmmm. I may have to get back to you on that.
... certainly they both question the desirability of human beings merely functioning as parts of something bigger.
