Only adult audiobook I can remember listening to was A thousand splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, and I found it rather distracting that the actress reading it did the male voices, although she was quite competent.
Maybe I'd use them more if I had a car, and knew how to drive it.
But this Nick Cave thing seems intriguing, though I've seen movies solely because Cave did the music, or had a bit part.
