Now before you all get upset, :P, I only read his first three in the Sword of Truth series. As well as his one short story, which I read in an anthology last week or so.
The thing is, I find him very readable. As a person, well, I'm trying not to judge. :P And apparently he gets preachy in the rest of his Sword of Truth books. So that would probably bring my opinion down some, even if I agree with what he's preaching about. But his writing keeps me interested. His characters aren't always the best, but they're good enough. I always want to keep turning the page, which is more than I can say for a lot of authors who are pimped on this board.

Am I alone in this? Is the preachiness what makes people not want to read him, or is it his... weird attitude?
