That's interesting Mats imaginary friend Send a noteboard - 07/10/2009 04:21:02 AM
MISTBORN, WARBREAKER, ELANTRIS and THE WAY OF KING (and its sequels) are all set in the same universe or multiverse of planes and worlds. Careful reading of the books will reveal a character called 'Hoid', who appears in every book in various guises, and apparently is the same individual.

According to Sanderson, all of his adult fantasy novels will be set in this same universe and at some point he will write a central work tying them together, probably called HOID (he equivalent of Stephen King's DARK TOWER series, possibly).

I hadn't heard that before. Do you have any links I could look at or at least point me in the right direction so I can see his words on the subject? Definitely an interesting concept. I'd love to see how he ties it all together, even more once Way of Kings comes out....
