I never got into it, and have been critical of Sanderson's writing in general, just from an admittedly small sample, and his shortcomings compared to RJ on WoT, but I'm willing to go along with this, and follow along in the discussion.

His writing is better when it's his own work, but your criticisms are still going to be valid.

He's a storyteller, not a shrink or novelist that tries to make points (political or societal).
