So how do you approach it in terms of dictionary use?

View original postIt's not something to be read quickly, especially when there are thousands of hapax legomena words, thousands of alternate spellings and thousands of archaic expressions.
Every once in a while I'm tempted to start some ambitious endeavour of that kind, usually in Arabic - but having to look up several words per sentence slows the pace down so much that I never get anywhere. How do you do it, do you look up everything you don't get, or only the ones that seem important?
