There was absolutely nothing of value written in terms of Latin poetry by women. I don't even know of a woman who wrote poetry in Latin. In fact, the only Latin women writers I'm aware of AT ALL are Egeria and Aetheria of pilgrimage fame, Heloise of Abelard and Heloise, Hrothsvitha and Hildegard of Bingen. Full stop.
Any English-language poetry of any note you're most likely already aware of. Hell, any Latin poetry of any note you're most likely already aware of. Learn another language and you will have a chance to read something worthwhile that you don't already know, rather than scraping the shit off the bottom of the barrel of poetry.
– Procopius
