I'm sure I would need a lot of alcohol to get through an event of his. *NM* everynametaken Send a noteboard - 20/04/2014 04:14:49 AM

I went to this awful event in Manhattan to roll out some silly website of his. It did have great free wine, and plenty of gold digger eye candy to observe in its natural habitat. But I digress. When Chopra was introduced, he didn't really know what to say before starting his prepared remarks and he said, "Thank you for your gracious words and your...gracious...introduction. It is very...gracious of you. Thank you. Yes. Thank you." We were getting ready to make everyone in our group drink for every "gracious" but then he launched into his polished and prepared remarks. When he was off script, though, the vapidness of it all was even more evident.

But wine was the great assassin of both tradition and propriety...

I'd add Joyce. In French I think the most overrated novelist is Proust. - 18/04/2014 10:29:04 PM 1124 Views
