I'm a grad student in the sciences and read for fun pretty infrequently, so I respect your judgment more than my own when it comes to literature. Thanks for taking the time to respond! I'll try to check out a few of these--I've been on a fantasy kick again recently, as it gives me a good detachment from reality.
