Usually when I want something to read, I go to the library and wander around until I find something that looks interesting. Or until I get bored of wandering around and just grab whatever is closest at the time.

I do accept recommendations though, and if people give me books I'll always read them.


The local library is not typically a place in recent years where I've found a lot of the books that interest me (many have too small of a print run to garner library orders), but I suppose that could be a way of discovering things in a less focused fashion.

Of course, that does lead to the question of what genres are being read, I suppose...
