It's akin to a stagnant pool where the malaria-infested mosquitos breed Larry Send a noteboard - 11/11/2013 08:48:04 AM

I was referring simply to r/books. Most of the fantasy mentioned there is simply of the Song of Ice and Fire, Wheel of Time, and Malazan variety, in that order of popularity. So yeah, ground that RAFO and wotmania already covered five years ago at least.

It's really a shame that this place is turning so desolate. I don't know if it's nostalgia or force of habit that makes me come here, but I'm fond of this corner of the internet, and will be sad to see it go. If the place is still kicking by the time I get around to reading something for fun again, I'll go the extra mile and post something about it here.

I'd say more like 10-12 years ago, but that's just me

I visit mostly on weekends or late nights I'll glance briefly after my second job, but mostly to see if anything nonsensical has been said about politics, unfortunately. Pretty much everyone who was active at OF left when wotmania closed down or at least curtailed their activities due to various reasons, like work/family. Kind of surprised this place is still operational, to be honest.
