Of all the Dickens books, I never read the Bleak House and don't even know much about it!
I've read very few Dickens books myself so far - I think only Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol and Bleak House - but I loved Bleak House. It's very long, very drawn out, but excellently written. The story is basically about a court case in "Chancery", the British law system of the time to settle disputes about inheritances and the like - but the case in question has been in Chancery for decades and doesn't look like it'll be finished any time soon. The main characters are youngsters who are somehow involved in said court case, and have to figure out how to live their lives while waiting for the undetermined point in the future when they will - probably - get their inheritance. But of course there's a lot more to it than that.
After AMOL, I'm looking for something new, so let me ask - What was the best book you read in 2012?

It's a great book, though Chronicles of Amber would seem closer to WoT
