Ebooks are definitey the way of the future. I for one, welcome our digital print overlords.
Seriously, though, there is something special about having an actual physical collection of books, and as long as the baby boomers don't get into the kindle too much, I'm sure that hardbacks will survive with a somewhat similar, albeit trending downward, bottom line for at least another twenty or thirty years.
The thing I'm really torn about is downloading books in .pdf form on the internet. The morals of it...on the one hand, if I really like the book, who's to say I don't buy it. On the other hand...different fingers.
