GS, and even Changes, comes off very much like Butcher regrets writing it the way he did and wants to gloss over some of the arcs, but I was pretty happy with Cold Days.
I wouldn't be surprised if Butcher plans to do some more short stories to fill in the gap, he certainly referenced them a lot more than GS, like everyone from the anthology, so I wouldn't be surprised to see more of that down the road and used to fill some of the holes that don't fit well into a novel.
