I thank you for the review. Sanderson is most definitely not a "meta" type writer for me, as in somebody who makes me put the book down and go "huh." Nope, Sanderson is very good entertainment. This book sounds right up my alley
Actually, compared to his other books, this one is better than average. Considering how the "entertainment" aspect doesn't appeal to me all that much and his flaws are magnified based on what he could have done with this concept, that perhaps is a backhanded compliment to him
