And yes, you should've read it a long time ago. That said: The others are good, but except for the sixth none is as good as that one. But the others ARE good, and definitely worth reading to get to the sixth one (the Love interest actually ends up being an integral plot element rather than a semi-obligatory romantic angle. ) The seventh one is actually kind of anticlimactic after that, feels a bit forced to me, like he only wrote to cover everyone and tie up his lose ends (maybe a little too didactic, but maybe that's just because Anthony and I don't see eye to eye on that issue anymore. ) A lot of why I so firmly reject the "balance scale" view of judgment is On a Pale Horse though; it seems VERY arbitrary to me to say Mr. 51% Evil gets a completely different "reward" than Mr. 51% Good. Unmerited Grace seems a lot more fair to me as a result (and bear in mind my view of THAT issue was very different when I read that series. )
You might've mentioned this a few hours ago, btw; on the other hand, given how our discussion of TFoH went when you just started that, I understand why you didn't (I really did think then that "Choices" was at the end of TSR though. ) Definitely expect another call or two tonight....

They start off good but I found having the same story told over and over got boring *NM*
