I'd vote for Viktor Pelevin before I'd vote for Dylan. Eco and Kundera would be my first choices, in that order, yet their odds are longer than Dylan's.
That being said, cool as it would be to me if he won the award sometime, I am half-expecting an Arab writer, perhaps the Syrian Adonis, to win it this year. Having read his poetry, he is a deserving candidate, but beyond him and the Lebanese Elias Khoury, I don't know of many Arab writers worth considering.
And yes, I'm trying to think "political" here, which is part of the award criteria these days, it seems
