I think it's only selling because it's been so bigged up. Most comments I've seen from people who have read it say that it's rubbish. I dunno, like Dan Brown?
Yes. The radio report interviewed a reviewer who said that she and many other reviewers all agree the thing is very poorly written. I think it's probably rubbish in a more fundamental way than people describe Brown's work as rubbish. "Gray" is just, as I said, poorly written, while most criticism of Brown's work seems to be about the "conclusions" he makes.
I've not read it and have not the least interest in doing so.
