Last quarter of the year. Can you believe that?
Well, I haven't been much in the mood for reading lately, for like the past several months (more interested in watching sundry television shows that I have downloaded, from Downton Abbey, Highlander the Series, Sinbad and several others).
However, this month is the month that I designated several months ago as the time when I start my final reread of the Wheel of Time. Sometime this month I start all the way at the beginning (something I haven't done in over a decade). I'm actually thinking of starting with New Spring the Novel, then Eye of the World and on through, hopefully finishing just in time to read the last book of the series shortly after it comes out.
I don't actually remember the last time I read the earlier books in the series; when Knife of Dreams was coming out, I started my reread at Fires of Heaven, when The Gathering Storm came out I started at Lord of Chaos. With Towers of Midnight I didn't even do a reread.
But I've been waiting since the summer of 1991 to read the final book in the series, and I figure I should read the whole damned thing (the series) straight through.
I don't think I have ever waited so long to read a book (more than half of my lifetime). It better be worth it.
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.

The Carey was disappointing, Faulkner is giving me mixed feelings so far. *NM*
