Ghostwritten was absolutely wonderful, and if anyone has read and liked Cloud Atlas and not yet read Mitchell's debut, they need to remedy that immediately. The later book is very much enriched by the context of the first.

I also started Erin Morgenstern's The Night Circus on the plane, and I quite forgot I was flying.
