I think the re-read will be richly rewarded. Tom Send a noteboard - 04/05/2012 12:09:05 AM
I don't think I need to edit it again. I just noticed that near the beginning I had switched what I said but didn't fix one of the two verbs, so I had a past tense and a gerund paired, and then later on I had said "sexual obsession with the girl he had sex with" essentially, so I changed it to "erotic obsession". I think that being a transactional lawyer makes me want to be extremely precise with words when I write something more formally than as a simple response or post (i.e., a review).
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

ἡ δὲ κἀκ τριῶν τρυπημάτων ἐργαζομένη ἐνεκάλει τῇ φύσει, δυσφορουμένη, ὅτι δὴ μὴ καὶ τοὺς τιτθοὺς αὐτῇ εὐρύτερον ἢ νῦν εἰσι τρυπώη, ὅπως καὶ ἄλλην ἐνταῦθα μίξιν ἐπιτεχνᾶσθαι δυνατὴ εἴη. – Procopius
