Some new(er) some old
STEVEN R DONALDSON - Chronicles of Thomas Covenant (just released a new trilogy)
MERCEDES LACKY - Vandemar series
ELIZABETH MOON - Paksenarrion
DAVID DRAKE - The lord of the Isles (gets a littel tedious, but interesting)
DAVID WEBER - Safehold (uses science instead of magic, but has a medieval "wind & waves" setting) - War God series
LE MODESITT JR - Recluse, Corean Chronicles, Imager (just released a new one), Spellsong, heck anything he writes is good, and he writes ALOT.
Check out the BAEN BOOKS publishing calander, they do a great deal of Fantasy.
Please recommend me fantasy books like Wheel of Time and Name of the Wind
