The only latter-day-King novel I've tried to read before starting my readthrough project is Lisey's Story, which I found difficult at the time because of the dialect and "inside-language". But I've heard a lot about how King's books since the mid-2000s have been pretty iftacular, so I'm interested in getting there myself.
Reading your review, I was actually surprised to see that the bad guy was not responsible for the Dome, because that's the first thing I assumed must be true as I was reading through. Is it explained at all by the end, or is it just some random dome, as are known to occasionally appear?
