There are two feasible possibilities:
First, is that only one would work. Duralumin makes you burn all the metal, Nicrosil makes you burn all the metal, either way you're burning all the metal.
Second is that they'd compound. Duralumin makes you burn all the metal, probably not very efficiently (Like, 1 gram of pewter would normally let you carry 500 kg for an hour, but duralumin-burning it would let you lift 1500 kg for 3 seconds). It's possible that doing duralumin and having someone else do nicrosil at the same time would make the energy conservation "better," so that instead 1 gram of pewter would let you lift 3000 kg for 3 seconds.
Second seems more probable, just because it's cooler.
