So I don't think it's surprising that its events weren't mentioned in Iron Council. Although I do like how the books can be read separately of one another, and Mieville doesn't reuse the same characters, preventing them from getting boring and stale, I can't help feeling dissatisfied about it too. I want to know what happens to them all, dammit! But oh well.
