Good sale pitch. You make it sound terribly interesting and intriguing.

The new novel isn't coming out here for another month, but you might well have gotten me intrigued enough about the writer to go pick up his first one in the meantime (and in february weather, when I work from home at the moment and I'm not easy to convince to go downtown, that's already something).

I'm probably the last person on earth to learn, but even though I've seen you bring him up several time and seen your excitement for his upcoming novel when the release date was announced, I still had no idea before reading your review he's John Le Carré's son. Just that is quite intriguing on its own, to me anyway.
