I'm only on the second book right now, Fool Moon, but reading your idea twinges something in my head. I'm sure I was just reading something in Fool Moon that made me wonder briefly about time travel, but I can't recall what it was. I will try to look back after work today and see if I can find what made me think that.
I didn't even know (as you mention in your other reply here) that there was a law of magic banning time travel, so the fact that something made me think time travel is interesting.
