That is very sad. What happened? Do you get a replacement free?
I dropped it on a very hard surface. It sounded bad. Next time I went to use it, the top 1/4 of the screen was just blank. I don't think I can get a free replacement. I think I've had it too long.
However, I was thinking about getting an iPad or similar device. This just gives me more impetus to do so. Kind of a very thin silver lining. In the mean time, I heard about these shops where you can buy these things made of paper with writing on them. It sounds promising, so I'll check one out.

That's the one set in Vienna, yes? Not my favourite, though the take on Vienna is fascinating.
