It was just sitting on the shelf looking all nice and big and there.

Mine was rather modest. Just two books this year (and LOADS of chocolate; yum) - Dragonflight by Anne McCaffrey and Mistress of the Empire by Feist and Wurts.
They make me happy.
Well the only book I actually got for Christmas was 25 Scientific something-or-others by Whodjamacallhim but I preemptively bought a couple of things on Wednesday with birthday money. I got a collection of Ray Bradbury short fiction publsihed by the Everyman Library, that collection The Wierd that Larry was involved in and Madame Bovary. I also got a pair of editions of Fables.
Let me know what you think of The Weird. Apparently, I'll be getting the hardcopy shortly (I've had an e-book edition since before the book was available to regular readers), but it may be mid-January before I get it. Oh well, I can be patient.
It'll be mid January before i get to read it too. I've finals starting on the sixth of January and that's kind of takingh up my time at the moment.

Nothing, I'm afraid. Nor did I buy any (well, not since a couple weeks ago, anyway).

I first read them about 15 years ago, probably more. I just love them and like to reread.
