Finished Bryson's book on Shakespeare and second Locke Lamora book

The latter has been my airplane book for a while, and I am not sure taking a long break in the middle of it was a very good idea. I certainly prefer the first, as I think it was more coherent. But it was better than I had expected.
The Bryson book was also a positive surprise. I had never read any of his other stuff, and had an idea of it as being insufferable pop science for some reason (I live by my prejudices). But it was quite good. He is witty at times, and quite critical at others.

It's a good book, but in my memory doesn't have as memorable characters as P&P and Emma.
