Everything is online these days. Libraries, and librarians, like kerosene lamps and horse-drawn carriages, are on the fast track to the dustbin of history. Ideally, geographic units should have one storage facility and local libraries should be nothing more than a small office where requests for books are made and the books delivered are picked up. Even that is really irrelevant these days.
