Sounds fascinating, though, otherwise. Since reading Possession my interest in the Victorian period in general and their letters in particular has increased a good bit, so I might check this out some time... but then there are so many books of which I say that.
The thing about letters, though, is that they do not require a sustained effort of reading from one end to the other. You can pick and choose (although in this particular instance, reading from beginning to end works quite well, too).
