Sorry, I just got off work and have no desire to read anything longer than a few sentences, so I am only going by your summary. This fits me, actually. I love spoilers and don't think they detract from my overall enjoyment of a novel. For me, knowing something happens only builds anticipation. Sure, I may know that someone dies, but chances are I don't know how or when it happens.
On the other hand, there is no way to know whether or not I am enjoying a novel as much as I would have had I not been spoiled (but that doesn't really bother me).
