Obviously it isn't exactly among the best fantasy books ever written, but I don't see any other book in the series that can dispute FotF's claim of being the most coherent, thought-through and inspired book in the series (again, with the exception of the final fifty-ish pages), if not necessarily the most enjoyable (although there sure as hell are a good number that are still less enjoyable). The ridiculous aspects of its plot notwithstanding.
You can compare it a bit to the first half of Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn - calling it good is a stretch, and much of it is ridiculous, but it's written with inspiration, passion and, well, let's call it audacity, which puts it well above most of the rest of the series.

Let's see if you are old enough to read this post....Or Goodkind is still a Jackass!
