Most definitly an anti-science attitude in fantasy though! Can't argue with THAT point!
How so?
So back to the original topic
--Harry Potter is obviously fantasy.
--Everyone just proved very soundly to me that technology/science is kinda screwed around those with magic.
--That sounds very anti-science, and is an attitude that Rowling wrote into the story (even if she did it to plug potential plot holes like the ones I mentioned erroneously above).
So for the Harry Potter fantasy novels, it definitly is an anti-science attitude. Besides, science is muggle stuff, and even though the heroes of the story aren't bigots, there was plenty of bigotry against muggles, and by extension science, within the tale.
End I do plan on reading the books at some point, probably the next year or so (so much other stuff I need to read first).
Death to the Regressives of the GOP and the TeaParty. No mercy for Conservatives. Burn them all at the stake for the hateful satanists they are.

Well it sounds to me like you're not thinking about the term "science" correctly.
