The parasite - it must surely be Lasciel. Not as dormant as Harry would like to think.



I was honestly expecting Lasciel to be the one who whispered in his ear, leading to his death. I don't think that now, but I did for a minute when I read the scene.

"MAB GAVE YOU BREATH. HERE PROVIDED NOURISHMENT. THE PARASITE MAINTAINED THE FLOW OF BLOOD."

I don't think the "parasite" who provided the blood is Lasciel. Damned if I do know, though. A vampire, maybe?
