If prophecy is set in stone then Dany would be having the Stallion Who Mounts The World still nursing on her teats.


So far, Martin's propĥecies aren't false, but they're widely misread/misinterpreted (and thus dangerous to those who attempt to interpret them and use them for guidance, in the vein of Melisandre).

It's been suggested that the Dothraki mistook Dany's baby for the Stallion, when the prophecy was truly about her dragons. By the end of the book, she's back among the Dothraki, and riding her "son" Drogon.
