How did June's plans go? Did you read anything particularly good? If so, tell us about the book with a short review, or start a discussion thread. :|

July is the month of the ReaderCon convention, held in Burlington, Massachussets. To that end, I try to catch up on the books written by attendees. My super ambitious plans for the next 1(!) week are from this list:

Michael Swanwick - The Dragons of Babel - started today, and I'm completely enchanted just 10 pages in.

Patricia A. McKillip - Winter Rose or The Forgotten Beasts of Eld or Od Magic

Chris Moriarty - Spin Control - even though I've read it, I'd like to reread

Geoff Ryman - Was - I kinda made an attempt at it before, but stumbled when I realized it was a non-speculative book. Or The Child Garden - yes, more likely that.

Paul Witcover - Tumbling After - postapocalyptic SF. This man was so nice & gracious.

My trunk will be full of books to get autographed!
