In fact it's my favourite comic book and I recommend it to anyone looking to get into comic books.
Also Not all the heroes in the Ultimate are made younger. Most of the Avengers are the same age. A young Iron Man would be creepy.
A teenage Spider-man makes a lot of sense. When the mainstream Spider-man came out in the sixties, Peter Paker was in high school. The Ultimate reboot just kept him there.
