It took me longer than I would have liked to get into it.

So I'm reading this book.. and I just cannot get into it. This makes me sad because I LOVED the Mistborn books.
I'm just past the part where Kal doesn't jump into the chasm.. and it seems to me that the story should have "taken off" by this point. Am I missing something? Do I need to keep going, is it just about to soar?
Your thoughts are (as always) welcome!
But by the end I really enjoyed it, and I've reread it and noticed things I found boring in the beginning that are more significant than I originally thought. The story goes some really interesting places. I think it is totally worth finishing. My two cents.
The Way of Kings *spoilers*

More like final 1/10, than 1/2 IMO.

Yeah, this is definitely a book that will be improved via re-read. Like WoT.
