Who uses their own inability to follow multiple main characters (like in a soap opera! Which are the most intellectually challenging of all shows to follow...) as a flaw in a series?
As sex is an important catalyst in real life it would be in fiction too, so her bizarre and ill informed comments on that add to her aura of banal stupidity. As the rebuttal said, that aspect was in the books anyway for fairly legitimate if not necessarily vital reasons, and sex is rife in tv because it is an important human interaction and arguably the ultimate purpose of any individual life if you're not religious.
Fantasy as "low" literature is an irritatingly pervasive myth that is slowly being changed. Attacking a work purely because it is fantasy is both pretentious and prejudiced. Judging any book you have not read is unacceptable. How can you have a valid opinion based purely on the feedback from others or your own preconceptions?
Finally, a review that doesn't actually comment on any specifics of the show is frankly just ridiculous

And the answer came to her instantly: pride. Oh, you hear them say it's a sin; you hear them say it goes before a fall. the shepherd prides himself on keeping the wolf out from the flock. We pride ourselves on making a good history of our lives, a good story to be told.
