Last night, I finished a series with an unexpected ending. Literarily speaking, I appreciated the themes. Emotionally speaking, WAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
I'm still upset, even after sleeping it off. So! I want some good stories with HAPPY endings! I don't mind if some people die, but I want happily ever after for the main characters. Bonus points for romance.
CLARIFICATION: bonus points for stories WITH romance, not romance stories. I would like fantasy for this.

I seem to remember Modesitt's Towers of the Sunset had a romance element and a happy ending. *NM*

I was gonna suggest JS & MN as well. And Christie generally cheers me up as well, true. *NM*

While not a bad read I don't even know what feeling that book caused in me
