Who is GGK and where is his article? + my opinion on Martin

The problem I have with Martin is that he makes promises like he was a 10 year old. He gives promises again and again that seem to have little foundation in reality, and that annoys me. If a grown man(particularly someone in GRRMs age range) tells me he will be finished with something in 6 months, I believe him. Grown ups usually makes realistic promises, because in the real world people judge you by your actions. In no other line of work can you give so many empty promises and keep your job/not go out of business. GRRM is privileged in that way, he can supposedly live without worrying about honouring his promises. It would be nice if he acted professionally though, so I could respect him as a man, and not just enjoy his work.
Now I understand why everyone has been bitching about a Dance of Dragons....

I can see my rule of not reading series that have not been finished is paying off.
